Rebecca Fletcher MD grew up in a small town in East Tennessee. Before becoming an Athens obgyn, she attended Tusculum College for her undergraduate degree. She then went on to attend East Tennessee State University for medical school and residency.

When first starting medical school, Rebecca Fletcher MD considered becoming a small-town family doctor. However, on her obgyn rotation, she realized her true desire to take care of women.

A busy life in Athens
Rebecca Fletcher MD has made Athens her home. Her husband, Eric, works at a local bank and they welcomed their first daughter, Talia, in 2017. They also have two wonderful dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and participating in all of the activities that Athens has to offer.
