Andrew Herrin MD is proud to have grown up in Athens
After spending his youth in Athens, Andrew Herrin MD attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia and earned a degree in English. He then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Dr. Herrin is committed to providing high-quality healthcare to the women of Athens. “My goal as a physician is to provide the same level of care to my patients that I would want someone to provide to my own family,” he explains.

Thanks to his training and skill, Andrew Herrin MD is able to care for women during every stage of life. From adolescence to menopause, he provides treatment for all of the health issues that can occur in a woman’s lifetime. He also provides pregnancy care for expectant mothers.
Dr. Herrin is certified in minimally invasive robotic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Our Athens obgyn is also a member of the Medical Association of Georgia and the Crawford W. Long Medical Society.
A dedicated husband and father
Andrew Herrin MD and his wife, Clara, have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing tennis, listening to music, fly-fishing and traveling with his family.
